Job description

DESCRIPTION
As a Bellman/Shuttle Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering a positive guest experience. You will be responsible for assisting guests with luggage, providing shuttle transportation, maintaining the cleanliness of all public areas, and offering helpful information to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to drive safely and courteously. This role is 5am to 1pm and 1pm to 11pm. Open availiablity required.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling to and from their rooms.
Provide timely and safe transportation to and from designated locations using the hotel shuttle.
Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of all public areas, including the lobby, entrances, hallways, elevators, and other common spaces.
Clean and sanitize high-touch areas such as door handles, elevator buttons, and seating areas in public spaces.
Assist guests with general inquiries about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bell and shuttle areas, ensuring guest luggage is properly handled and stored.
Deliver items to guest rooms as requested, including room service orders, guest amenities, or luggage.
Ensure the shuttle vehicle is clean, fueled, and ready for use at all times.
Adhere to hotel policies, safety regulations, and local traffic laws while operating the shuttle.
Provide a warm and hospitable atmosphere for guests, anticipating their needs and offering assistance proactively.
Communicate effectively with the front desk and other hotel departments to coordinate guest services.
Assist with other tasks as assigned by management, including occasional support in hotel operations.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to drive various vehicles, including shuttles and vans.
Strong customer service skills with a positive, friendly attitude.
Ability to lift and carry luggage, packages, or equipment up to 50 lbs.
Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
Good knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation routes is a plus.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and attention to detail in public areas of the hotel.
