Job description
Duration: 12 months
Shift: M-F, 7:00 - 3:30
About the role:
- Manage projects following project processes and where applicable under direction from a Sr. Project Manager
- Complete projects per the contractual requirements within budget, on-time and with a high level of customer satisfaction
- Responsible for the overall financial performance of assigned projects including project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections and re-estimating costs of installation projects.
- Manage the delivery of the contracted scope and secure change orders for the expansion of scope
- Coordinate project materials and the use of shared resources; identify resource constraints, and assist with corrective action plans to remedy any issues
- Manage relationships with sub-contractors, identifying issues, and take corrective action plans to remedy any issues
Requirement:
- Experience in Construction, HVAC and/or Building Automation
- Windows & MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project and Access
- Self-starter, be able to organize and plan work schedules
- Work well in a team environment
- Problem solving, planning and project management skills
- Read contract documents and design drawings to understand the scope of work
- English written and verbal communication skills
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices
- Project financial reporting
- Skill Level - 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
- Some experience with procurement, scheduling and managing a financial portfolio. Ideally someone with some HVAC or electrical background. Construction management experience is also helpful.
