Job description

Description
We are looking for a Business Infrastructure Demand Manager to join our team and actively engage with the Technology teams supporting the Global Markets businesses. In this role, the candidate would work collaboratively with both the CIO and Global Technology Engineering/Global Information Security, to enhance the overall technical operating environment used by the business. The candidate will become familiar with the applications, tools and processes being used by the CIO teams and will work to communicate their requirements to the GTE/GIS teams, in cases managing the governance of the deliveries. Additionally, the role will work closely with the GTE/GIS organization to understand what changes need to be undertaken by the CIO groups to keep the Infrastructure operating environment stable and secure, through upgrades and new product roll outs.
Requirements:
• Strong understanding of Networking Technology, Firewall implementations, Information Security, Databases & Linux/Windows Operating systems
• Must have knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum project management methodologies.
• Experience with Optimizing Application Infrastructure to fit requirement.
• Experience with JIRA is a plus.
• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering practices is a plus.
• Experience with Public Cloud services adoption, preferably AWS, Azure
• Structured and organized approach to data/engagement details capture and management.
Responsibilities include:
• Work with CIO groups and Global Technology Engineering/Global Information Security teams to assess infrastructure needs and identify appropriate IT infrastructure teams or vendors to engage
• Ensure requirements are properly documented and agreed to by all stakeholders
• Leverage Project Change control to manage scope and document changes
• Work with CIO teams to ensure production related change requests are properly raised utilizing the firm's production change control process
• Work with CIO teams to ensure new vendor engagement requests are channelled through the firm's vendor management onboarding process
• Ensure requests to IT infrastructure teams are proactively planned and managed
• Establishing a project schedule and determine each phase
• Scheduling: Setting up standard SDLC ceremonies (retrospectives, post-mortems, planning sessions)
• Keep CIO teams informed of IT infrastructure changes that might affect them, understanding the impact and the expected support requirement.
• Manage meetings between the teams, documenting minutes and take-always. Between meetings, engage infra teams and other status of takeaways and assist where needed
• Risk Management: identify the unanticipated risks that may occur during project risk and work to mitigate them
• Execution:
o Track sprint execution of projects
o Working across different teams to create, iterate and manage delivery projects
o Guide teams through delivery and manage scope, risks & issues, resolving at the lowest level and escalating as needed
o Assigning tasks to project team members
• Governance:
o Responsible for adherence to project governance
o Ensure deliverables as required are created, documented & signed off by required parties
o Preparation & review of documentation prior to critical phases along SDLC
