Position Overview
Provide specialized instruction and academic support to K–2 and high school students in resource classroom settings, adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs.
Implement and monitor IEPs, accommodations, and individualized instructional strategies to support student progress and achievement.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with special education requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid Arizona Special Education Certification required; alternative teaching certifications are not accepted
Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Ability to obtain and maintain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) certification
