At CoreCivic, we do more than manage inmates, we care for people. CoreCivic is currently seeking Phlebotomists who have a passion for providing the highest quality care in an institutional setting.  

1. Properly identifies patient and selects venipuncture equipment appropriate for test, draws blood specimens.

2. Monitor patient for negative reactions, and take appropriate measures to alleviate patient anxiety.'

3. Properly label all specimens and follow laboratory procedures for requisitions.

4. Adhere to strict antiseptic techniques for patient safety.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent or greater.
  • Must possess a current certification from an approved formal nursing assistant program or equivalent program. One year experience preferred  
  • One year experience preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
