Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments that identify clients' unique needs, developing personalized treatment plans aimed at facilitating their progress.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored for individuals, couples, and families, employing diverse modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to create a sense of community among clients dealing with common mental health issues.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely support.
  • Educate clients on various mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, fostering awareness and understanding.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that client information is protected at all times.
  • Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge.
  • Stay engaged with current research and advancements in mental health therapy to continually refine and improve treatment approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse client base consists of individuals from various backgrounds seeking support for a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and more. You will work with clients of all ages, tailoring your approach to meet their specific needs within a nurturing and empathetic framework. Your work will contribute to improving overall public health in the Boston community by addressing mental health issues head-on.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMHC or an equivalent credential in the state of Massachusetts.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive mental health assessments and create effective, personalized treatment plans.
  • Experience providing individual and group therapy to a diverse clientele.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
  • Adherence to professional ethical standards and sound judgment in therapeutic settings.
  • Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in a community health clinic or similar setting.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based practice.
  • Experience leading group therapy sessions focused on common mental health challenges.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
