Position Overview

The Comprehensive Life Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health challenges, developing tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs.
• Provide individual therapy using evidence-based techniques and modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and solution-focused interventions.
• Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals and milestones, consistently monitoring and tracking their progress throughout the treatment process.
• Utilize organizational tools and electronic health records systems to document client interactions and treatment plans efficiently.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training and mentorship opportunities offered by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center focuses on a broad range of mental health issues affecting both adults and children. You will work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and adjustment disorders among others. Your expertise will specifically empower you to navigate the complexities of familial dynamics, providing support that fosters healthy communication and relational healing.

Qualifications

• A fully licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Connecticut.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience working with diverse populations.
• Proficient in virtual therapy platforms and electronic health record systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients quickly.

Preferred Experience

Experience in providing therapy to both adult and adolescent clients is highly desirable. Familiarity with community health services and an understanding of family dynamics will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Specialized training in therapeutic modalities such as play therapy or trauma-informed care is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000 annually. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
