Job Description

The Supervisor, Bank Operations is primarily responsible for providing first line supervisory/management level department support. Through effective supervision of direct reports, this position ensures all departmental operations are completed timely and accurately. This position works independently, but with a clear understanding of when to seek middle or upper management intervention and involvement.  This position requires strong verbal and written communications/interactions on a variety of levels, as well as external BOKF customers.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Banking and/or Accounting related field of study and 3-4 years in operations with 1 year or more in a leadership position or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experienced knowledge of applicable Federal and State regulatory compliance including: Anti-Money Laundering, Office of Foreign Assets and Control, Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act and Sarbanes Oxley, Reg E, Reg CC, UCC4A.
  • Excellent PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills, good mathematical skills
  • Basic knowledge of banking principles
  • Basic understanding of transaction management, document managing, and imaging
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices (debit, credit, accounts payables and receivables)
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to use sound judgment in decision making
  • Self-motivated
  • Good communication skills (verbal, interpersonal and written)
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work flexible hours
  • Team oriented and willing to assist others
  • Customer Service skills and/or experience
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast pace, high volume environment & adaptable to change.
