Job description

Join Our Team as an On-Call Nurse Practitioner
Position: Nurse Practitioner
Location: Onsite at our Beaverton Recovery Center, Washington County
Company: CODA
About CODA and the Beaverton Recovery Center
At CODA, we're leading the charge to provide compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals and families affected by substance use disorders. The Beaverton Recovery Center, our state-of-the-art facility in Washington County, is a transformative hub designed to deliver exceptional care to our community's most vulnerable.
We're committed to creating an environment that fosters hope, supports recovery, and builds resilience. As part of our team, you'll be contributing to a groundbreaking initiative that offers healing and a fresh start to those on their journey to sobriety.
Why Join CODA?
  • Excellent Benefits & Competitive Pay: We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary.
  • Career Advancement: Take advantage of this unique opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic, supportive setting.
  • Supportive Work Culture: Experience a work environment built on CODA's core values-collaboration, compassion, courage, respect, and vision.
  • A New Chapter: Be part of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shape the culture and success of a brand-new recovery center.
About The Role
As a Nurse Practitioner at CODA's Beaverton Recovery Center, you will be at the forefront of patient-centered detoxification and stabilization services. You'll oversee and provide direct medical care to individuals withdrawing from addictive substances-evaluating medical needs, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans.
This critical leadership role includes creating and refining medical protocols in collaboration with the Medical Director, providing consultation to nursing staff, and ensuring that all clinical decisions align with best practices and CODA's mission. You'll respond to medical emergencies, contribute to interdisciplinary care planning, and help shape the quality of care through data-informed and compassionate practice.
Whether conducting in-person evaluations or consulting remotely, your impact will be felt across the program as a key medical decision-maker and recovery advocate.
What You Will Bring
  • Licensure & Education: Active, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license and DEA certification to prescribe controlled substances. Graduation from an accredited NP program and national certification in a nurse practitioner specialty.
  • Clinical Expertise: Experience in managing substance use withdrawal, prescribing medications, evaluating medical risk, and leading clinical decision-making in complex environments.
  • Medical Leadership: Proven ability to collaborate on treatment protocols, consult on medical emergencies, and provide clinical oversight to interdisciplinary teams.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to maintain confidentiality and foster rapport with patients, teams, and community partners.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competence with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), crisis prevention certification (e.g., CPI), and a valid Oregon or Washington driver's license.
  • Physical Readiness: Able to safely operate a motor vehicle, perform CPR, lift up to 25 lbs., and work in a clinical environment with required PPE.

If you're a mission-driven Nurse Practitioner looking to deliver high-impact care while contributing to the development of a new recovery center, we invite you to join our team and make a difference from day one.
