Key Responsibilities
  • Be hands on in pre-sales activity and manage a team of security engineers.
  • Provide technical pre sales assistance for customers and or partners
  • Develop existing and new accounts in conjunction with sales reps
  • Coach and mentor the SE team
  • Technical Product and solution presentations
  • Active participation in IT security events and trade shows as a speaker
  • Develop a solution by translating a customer's business requirements into an integrated technical solution
  • Technically close complex and competitive opportunities, through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill and credibility
  • Identify revenue impacting support escalations and engage proactively with required parties (internal / external) to ensure timely resolution and satisfactory resolution
  • Proactively engage and communicate with Product Management, Business units, Sales and Marketing
  • Broad understanding of Security Threat Landscape / IT Security industry, past, present and future

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or related major.
  • 15 years' experience in networking standards and protocols (Ethernet, routing, UNIX, Network Mgr., Internet Protocol addressing).
  • At least 8 years of pre-sales engineering experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, leadership and ability to motivate.
  • Solid data communication experience.
  • Working knowledge of system design.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Check Point experience and certification preferred.
  • Cyber Security Experience and the fields of network, data center, and cloud architectures.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future.

The wage range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors in determining your pay. We'll consider your location, experience, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The wage disclosure has not been adjusted for applicable geographic differentials associated with the location at which this position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current base wage range for this role is $192,000 - $233,600. In addition to the base compensation, certain roles are eligible for additional compensation, including an annual bonus or sales incentive based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. Benefits/perks listed here may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Check Point Software Technologies and the country/state where you work.
