What We Are Looking For

Check Point is looking for a high-impact Major Account Manager ready to win new strategic logos and unlock growth across a focused portfolio of approximately 20 existing customers and prospects. In this role, you will shape bold, multi-year account strategies, lead complex deals with senior decision-makers, and bring together a virtual account team to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers in a channel-friendly environment. This is an opportunity to own a critical territory, build trusted executive relationships, and help some of the world’s leading organizations stay secure as they accelerate their digital and AI transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Drive new, expansion and renewal opportunities across all accounts

Acquire new strategic logos while farming and expanding existing accounts

Build executive relationships and secure senior-level access

Develop and execute major account plans with multi-year view

Lead contract and pricing negotiations

Prioritize effectively across a large book of business

Use Check Point tools to manage accounts, pipelines and forecast

Coordinate a virtual account team (specialists, SE, etc)

• 5+ years of direct sales experience in enterprise technology, preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS, networking, or infrastructure
• Proven success selling intoState, Local Government, and/or Education accounts
• Strong understanding ofState of Floridaprocurement, budgeting cycles, and funding mechanisms
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and strategic accounts
• Self-starter with excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel regionally as needed (estimated 50%)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Existing relationships within Floridastate agenciesand Higher Education Institutions
• Experience working with or through public sector channels and distributors
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements in SLED
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM

The wage range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors in determining your pay. We'll consider your location, experience, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The wage disclosure has not been adjusted for applicable geographic differentials associated with the location at which this position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current base wage range for this role is $130,000-$180,000. In addition to the base compensation, certain roles are eligible for additional compensation, including an annual bonus or sales incentive based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. These awards are allocated based on individual performance.
