Position: VFX Production Coordinator
Location: Vancouver, BC 
*Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 CAD hourly
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Coordinator works directly with VFX Supervisors and VFX Producers to track the progress of shots between teams, coordinate daily reviews, and anticipate delivery deadlines. The Coordinator is reliable, a positive communicator, and adaptable with quick turnarounds.
MAIN DUTIES:
The VFX Coordinator will coordinate and log Dailies, coordinates with other departments to efficiently allocate resources across projects, and liaises between artists, producers, and supervisors. They will reflect status changes and shot progress throughout project duration and support the production management team with ad hoc projects/tasks. Additional duties include:
  • Manages deliverables directly with internal Editorial Team
  • Manages all Outsourcing to external vendors
  • Captures client feedback during review sessions

WHAT YOU BRING:
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and project management skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and have the ability to work with minimal supervision. They must have a strong knowledge of project management software including Word and Excel, prior working experience with production tracking software (preferably Shotgrid), and be capable of working as a part of a team and independently. Additional desired skills include:
  • Must have a high level of initiative, flexibility, and confidentiality
  • General understanding of post-production process and work created in software used for Compositing, 3D Modeling, Animation, and VFX
  • Expertise in maintaining positive customer relationships through written communication with external clients
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
