Job description

Description
  • Serve as contact with referral sources and facilitate admissions to programs. Ensure appropriateness of departmental admissions, and adhere to all relevant internal clinical pathways governing admissions. Attend external meetings to promote the program.
  • Coordinate in conjunction with department director clinical services as needed, including but not limited to, trainings and oversight for interns and clinical staff promoting social responsibility.
  • Assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions for staff as needed promoting growth and change.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring of departmental processes and company policies.
  • Provide direct care to consumers, as needed, and perform administrative and clinical functions as needed using emotional intelligence.
  • Assist in handling day to day employee/consumer situations (including but not limited to call offs, complaints, scheduling, etc).
  • Ensure compliance with all program standards and regulations. Maintain current knowledge of regulations, standards, policies, etc. Maintain adequate and current records.
  • Attend any appropriate internal or external meetings in conjunction with current position. Fill in assigned duties in absence of department director utilizing social responsibility.
  • Adhere to seven recognized Sanctuary commitments which includes social responsibility, social learning, non-violence, open communication, democracy, emotional intelligence, growth and change.

Position Requirements
  • Master's degree in a generally recognized clinical or administrative discipline including, but not limited to, psychiatry, social work, psychology, rehabilitation or activity therapies.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience
  • Act 33 and 34 and FBI Clearances, Act 31 Mandated Reporter Training
  • Supervisory training and experience preferred
  • Training and experience conducting group psychotherapy, the recovery model, drug and alcohol treatment, and other specialized therapy preferred
