YOUR ROLE AS OUR CUSTOMER SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE:
You'll play an important part in the order fulfillment process and will partner with internal teams to provide excellent customer service. Your main focus will be on estimating the cost of parts for potential orders and communicating with customers to ensure they're satisfied with our business. Responsibilities include (but aren't limited to):
- Tracking quotes' progress and monitoring success rates
- Cross-training in billing and data entry functions
- Thoroughly reviewing schematics, drawings, and technical specs from customers and using this information to prepare detailed material and labor lists
- Determining material costs and explaining quotes to customers
- Following up with customers throughout the ordering process and upcoming due dates
- Driving continual improvement, optimization, and customer satisfaction
In order to do this, you'll need the following:
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience using an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, such as Epicor
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work on-site
- Ability to clearly communicate ideas, ask clarifying questions, actively listen, and adjust communication styles to fit different audiences and purposes
- Analytical problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving cost-affecting variables
- Math skills and an analytical mindset
- Sharp attention to detail with the ability to review data for thoroughness
- Ability to independently manage your workload, balance competing priorities, and optimize your time
We're open to candidates who are new to the industry, but experience in a manufacturing, estimating, or customer service role would be beneficial.
