Job description

Ecommerce Manager

We're helping our client find an Ecommerce Manager to own and optimize the end-to-end online shopping experience across their storefront. In this role, you will focus on improving site performance, merchandising strategy, and conversion rate optimization to increase revenue per visitor and overall store efficiency. This is a hands-on operator role for someone comfortable executing quickly, working with existing creative assets, and continuously improving the customer journey through structured testing.

Responsibilities:

Own the Ecommerce Experience

  • Manage and optimize the Shopify storefront (or equivalent platform)
  • Ensure a seamless, high-converting experience across desktop and mobile devices
  • Own site navigation structure and usability improvements
  • Maintain high-performing product detail pages and landing pages

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Analyze user behavior and identify drop-off points across the funnel
  • Run A/B tests across:
    • landing pages
    • product pages (PDPs)
    • checkout flows
  • Continuously improve:
    • CVR
    • AOV
    • revenue per visitor

Product & Merchandising Strategy

  • Manage product launches and collection rollouts
  • Execute onsite promotional campaigns
  • Optimize product positioning, imagery, and copy presentation
  • Align merchandising with marketing campaign timing

Performance & Analytics

  • Track ecommerce performance metrics including:
    • CVR
    • AOV
    • revenue
    • bounce rate
  • Use behavioral and performance data to prioritize improvements
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams on traffic quality and funnel performance

What Success Looks Like:

  • Increased conversion rate across the storefront
  • Improved revenue per visitor
  • Stronger-performing product and landing page experiences
