Job Overview:

R. B. Hinkle Construction, a Primoris Services Corporation company, is seeking skilled craftspeople with expertise in pipe, utility, or mechanical work. This role involves performing essential tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of various infrastructure components.
Job Responsibilities-
* Install, assemble, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications and safety standards.
* Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
* Assist with the excavation, backfilling, and trenching for utility lines.
* Perform mechanical tasks such as assembling and disassembling equipment.
* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion.
Job Qualifications-
* Proven experience in pipefitting, utility installation, or mechanical work.
* Ability to work effectively in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
* Physical ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, climb, and stand for extended periods.
* Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Relevant certifications or vocational training a plus.

R.B. Hinkle is a Contractor of Choice for PEPCO, BGE, Dominion Energy and Washington Gas.

We offer a full range of underground installation and repair/replacement services for power, telecom and gas utilities' residential and commercial market. We are very active in the Datacenter Market, providing required underground infrastructure (manholes and conduits) for telecom and power. Our fleet of bucket trucks and crews of Class A Linemen are experienced with new installation as well as maintenance and upgrade of existing overhead lines.
