Job description

Silicone Manufacturing Associate – 3rd Shift

Location: Somerset, WI
Pay:$22.00/hour

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am


Position Summary:
SEEK Careers is seeking a Silicone Manufacturing Associate to support production operations in our Somerset, WI facility. This role involves working with silicone molding processes in a regulated manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and support silicone manufacturing equipment, including injection mold machines, sonic welders, presses, and pad printers
  • Load and unload machines throughout the production process
  • Perform detailed visual inspections to ensure product quality
  • Package finished products according to work instructions
  • Work around molds reaching temperatures up to 300 degrees; use proper techniques to safely remove medical masks without damage
  • Monitor equipment and production flow in warm environments (some machines may feel similar to working near a space heater)
  • Follow all gowning, safety, and cleanroom procedures


Qualifications:

  • Good hand dexterity and ability to handle small parts safely and precisely
  • Comfortable working in warm conditions and around heated equipment
  • Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and quality


Physical / Work Environment Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, bending, and repetitive motion
  • Ability to lift up to 35–50 lbs
  • Gowning required from head to toe

It was a tradition that names derived in such a way would bring success to that person or business. So, from Carol’s home, SEEK assignment employees were sent to serve the temporary needs of Ozaukee County business people. The business grew and was eventually incorporated in 1975. The Grafton office expanded from Carol’s home to several other buildings in town before finally settling in their current location on Opportunity Drive in Grafton in 1997. Currently, there are 19 total branch offices with 16 located throughout Wisconsin and a recent acquisition has expanded SEEK’s portfolio to 3 branch offices in the Twin Cities.
