Job description

Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta, on a casual and contractual basis. This role is crucial in providing high-quality behavioural analysis services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The BCBA will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop tailored intervention plans. Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies in accordance with best practices. Provide training and support to staff and families on behavior management techniques. Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment outcomes. Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications: Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or educational setting working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in behavior analysis.
