Job Title:
Americas Marketing Manager - Beauty Personal Care, Naturals
Summary:
This is a rare opportunity to influence the future of natural and sustainable beauty on a global scale. As Americas Marketing Manager, Beauty & Personal Care - Naturals, you will lead the strategic direction of a high-growth portfolio, transforming market trends and customer insights into innovation, investment, and commercialization priorities that drive business success.
You'll partner with global leaders across R&D, sales, technology, and marketing to identify new growth platforms, shape portfolio strategy, and deliver market-leading solutions. With significant visibility among executive leadership, Tier 1 customers, and industry stakeholders, this role offers the chance to become a recognized thought leader while making a measurable impact on revenue growth, innovation, and long-term business strategy.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Strategy Definition & Direction
  • Define and drive the long-term (3-5 year) growth strategy for the Naturals portfolio, aligning with global BPC segment priorities
  • Shape portfolio direction by identifying strategic growth platforms, white spaces, and innovation priorities
  • Influence portfolio investment decisions, pricing architecture, and prioritization of NPIs

2. Market & Portfolio Leadership
  • Translate global megatrends (sustainability, naturality, regulatory shifts) into clear strategic direction and actionable growth roadmaps
  • Lead definition of value propositions and positioning frameworks for Naturals across regions
  • Establish priority segments and customer focus areas (Tier 1, OEM/ODM, emerging players)

3. Cross-Regional & Cross-Functional Influence
  • Drive alignment across R&D, Sales, Technology, and regional marketing teams globally
  • Lead cross-regional strategic initiatives to ensure consistency in execution and portfolio deployment
  • Act as a key interface between global strategy and regional execution teams

4. Innovation & Go-to-Market Leadership
  • Own the strategic direction of NPI pipelines, ensuring alignment with future market and customer needs
  • Guide global and regional teams on go-to-market models, commercialization frameworks, and launch priorities
  • Influence adoption strategies at key customers and across regions

5. External Representation & Thought Leadership
  • Serve as a recognized SME in Naturals and sustainable ingredients
  • Represent the company in key customer engagements, industry events, and strategic discussions with Tier 1
  • Shape market perception through thought leadership, insights, and external visibility

6. Business Impact & Ownership
  • Accountable for driving sustainable revenue growth and long-term value creation, not just execution of regional targets
  • Influence long-range business planning, pipeline generation, and strategic partnerships
  • Provide leadership through influence rather than direct authority across global teams

Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
  • Bachelor's degree required; Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Materials Science, or related technical field preferred.
  • 8+ years of Beauty & Personal Care ingredients marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to define strategy and influence business direction, not only execute plans
  • Strong track record of cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influence at senior levels
  • Ability to translate complex market insights into strategic actions and business impact
  • Excellent communication skills with executive-level presence
  • This role requires approximately 40-50% travel across North America, with limited international travel opportunities.

The following are preferred for the role
  • Master's degree in a Chemistry-related major
  • Experience in leading ingredient companies (e.g., BASF, Croda, Evonik, Inolex) or OEM/ODM
  • Strong expertise in naturals, sustainability, or green chemistry
  • Experience working across multiple regions or global marketing roles
  • Technical understanding of cosmetic ingredients/formulations
