Position Overview
Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team. This role will serve as a key resource for employee inquiries, HRIS transactions, onboarding activities, benefits support, and general HR operations. The ideal candidate will be highly responsive, customer-service-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Of The HR Assistant
- Monitor and respond to inquiries received through the HR inbox.
- Process employee transactions and updates within the HRIS.
- Handle employment verification requests.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding employment status, start dates, end dates, and other HR-related matters.
- Process job changes and maintain employee records.
- Coordinate and distribute new hire onboarding and orientation communications.
- Provide administrative support for benefits and leave administration activities.
- Assist with HR documentation, reporting, and operational processes.
- Support day-to-day HR functions and special projects as needed.
Required Experience/Skills For The HR Assistant
- Prior experience supporting HR administrative functions and employee inquiries.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service mindset and professionalism.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Experience/Skills For The HR Assistant
- Experience in HR Operations or transactional HR environments.
- Experience administering and maintaining HRIS data.
- Experience processing employee changes and HR transactions.
- Experience with UKG or similar HRIS platforms.
Education Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
