Job Description

This job will work across the finance organization to help achieve all organizational goals. This role will have visibility to all aspects of annual and quarterly reporting along with key responsibilities which will include the preparation of SEC filings and handling financial information for Investor Relations. This position will assist in technical accounting research, special projects and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the preparation of SEC reporting documents (8-K, 10-Q, 10-K)
  • Work with annual equity offering.
  • Play a lead role in managing the external reporting.
  • Assist in the review of the quarterly earnings release.
  • Support Investor Relations on quarterly earnings materials.
  • Work with finance to help with all budget inquiries.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to successfully support quarterly reviews.
  • Be a focal point of the annual audit.
  • Maintain proper internal controls.
  • Keep up with all accounting research.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA preferred
  • 2+ years with some in public accounting
  • Familiarity with XBRL preferred
  • Strong technical skills and internal controls background
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Ability to work with senior leadership
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Very strong abilities with Excel
