Applied Intuition Jobs Information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Executive Assistant, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Executive Assistant, you need strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in office administration, typically supported by a degree or relevant experience. Familiarity with office software like Microsoft Office Suite, calendar management systems, and sometimes project management tools is essential. Excellent communication, discretion, and problem-solving skills help you manage complex schedules and sensitive information effectively. These skills are crucial for supporting executives efficiently, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

How do Executive Assistants typically manage competing priorities and urgent requests from multiple executives or departments?

Executive Assistants often juggle tasks for multiple leaders or teams, making time management and prioritization essential skills. They typically use digital calendars, project management tools, and clear communication to track deadlines, coordinate schedules, and ensure urgent requests are handled promptly. Regular check-ins with executives and a proactive approach to anticipating needs help minimize conflicts and last-minute changes. Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization also allows Executive Assistants to effectively negotiate priorities and deliver high-quality support.

What are Executive Assistants?

Executive Assistants are highly skilled administrative professionals who provide support to senior executives, such as CEOs or company presidents. Their responsibilities typically include managing schedules, organizing meetings, handling correspondence, making travel arrangements, and acting as a liaison between executives and other staff. Executive Assistants often handle confidential information and are trusted to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

What is the difference between Executive Assistant vs Administrative Assistant?

We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.

About the Role

We are looking for bright engineers interested in helping our customers solve complex technical issues related to Applied's Vehicle Intelligence products. Our Solution Engineers have a unique mix of software expertise, domain knowledge, and execution driven mindset. Using these skills, our engineers work closely with vehicle and autonomy software and tools developers to ensure that Applied's platform solutions are providing maximum impact to advance customers' SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) and Full End-to-end AD/ADAS initiatives. This is an important role for the company bringing together our product and engineering expertise with our customer-centric culture.

At Applied Intuition, You Will:

  • Support the technical, project management and customer facing aspects of the Vehicle OS projects for major OEMs
  • Bridge the gap between the customer and engineering, including understanding and organizing customer technical requirements, setting up and participating in technical meetings, tracking project milestones, and other project management roles

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

  • Experience working with automotive OEMs or suppliers
  • Prior work in vehicle development, E/E architecture, embedded software domains or autonomy
  • An acute attention to detail and an execution focused mindset
  • Strong communication skills and focus on solving customer problems
  • Experience working with customers and wants to grow their technical and engineering skills
  • Experience in interacting with end-customers as an application engineer or a developer
  • Project management experience in complex projects

Nice To Have:

  • Familiar with the vehicle development process and possess in-depth knowledge and practical experience of functional safety required in vehicle development
  • Professional experience in software development and coding
  • Experience in embedded software development
