PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to find a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Assistant in Stratford, CT. As a Human Resources Assistant, you’ll help keep critical personnel processes running smoothly—from maintaining confidential employee records to supporting benefits, training, employment, compensation, and HR reporting. Your work will directly contribute to an effective employee experience and a well-organized workplace.

In this role, you will:

• Maintain accurate manual and automated employee personnel records.
• Perform a variety of HR and clerical tasks supporting employee records, benefits, education and training, employment, compensation, and equal employment opportunity programs.
• Collect, compile, and maintain sensitive and confidential personnel statistics.
• Prepare HR reports and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
• Provide personnel information to authorized individuals and agencies while maintaining confidentiality.
• Respond to employee questions and provide clear information regarding HR policies, procedures, and practices.
• Support day-to-day HR administrative activities and help ensure personnel processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with HR team members and employees at all levels of the organization.

• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
• Proficiency with standard office and computer applications.
• Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and processes.

• Previous experience in human resources, personnel administration, or a related administrative role.
• Experience maintaining employee records or HR databases.
• Familiarity with benefits, employment, compensation, training, or other HR functions.
• Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, aerospace, or aviation environment.
