Shipping/ Receiving Associate

Location: Detroit, MI
Pay: $20/hr

Job Summary
The Warehouse / Listing Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse operations and online sales activities. This role ensures the efficient and accurate handling of inventory, proper listing of products on eCommerce platforms, and maintenance of a clean and organized warehouse environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Warehouse / Listing Associate, your core responsibilities may include:
Creating and managing product listings on eCommerce platforms such as Amazon, eBay, and Shopify, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and optimized search visibility.
Conducting regular inventory checks and updates while assisting with receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming stock.
Picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and efficiently to ensure timely delivery to customers.
Safely loading and unloading trucks using cranes and forklifts while handling items with care and storing them correctly.
Inspecting equipment for defects or discrepancies and reporting any issues to a supervisor to ensure quality standards are met.
Disassembling equipment as required for shipping or inventory purposes.
Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment and assisting with general warehouse duties including organizing shelves, restocking supplies, and managing returns.
Working closely with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.

What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Skills:
Proficiency in operating forklifts and cranes.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 75 pounds.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions
This role may require standing for extended periods and handling heavy items.
Standard warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
Regular working hours with occasional overtime as required.

Performance Metrics
Accuracy and completeness of eCommerce listings.
Efficiency and accuracy in order fulfillment.
Maintenance of inventory accuracy.
Adherence to warehouse safety and organization standards.
