About the team

We're seeking an Operations Manager to work directly with our Technical Solutions organization to build cross-functional programs and processes, solve complex operational challenges, and enable scalability and excellence. Technical Solutions at Alloy encompasses Solutions Engineering, Implementation Management, Technical Account Management, Technical Support, and Solutions Architecture.

This role sits within Alloy's centralized Operations function - which serves as the strategic and operational backbone for Product, Engineering, and Technical Solutions - and owns the Technical Solutions vertical end-to-end. This is a role for someone who thinks in systems, builds from scratch, and thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution.

Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite three days a week.

What you'll be doing
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to Technical Solutions leadership
  • Build and manage operational cadences and structures
  • Empower our teams to leverage tooling, particularly AI capabilities, to improve the way we work
  • Own a portfolio of cross-functional programs, defining strategy, milestones, and success metrics for each
  • Serve as the connective tissue between GTM, Technical Solutions, Product, and Engineering - driving to defined outcomes on our most critical strategic initiatives
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, including partner-facing touchpoints during project execution
  • Communicate program status, risks, and decisions clearly to leadership and working teams
  • Pick up new projects and initiatives as they emerge - you're comfortable with ambiguity and energized by building from scratch

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish Operational Rhythms: Design and implement the operational structures and cadences that drive alignment, decision-making, and efficiency across our Technical Solutions teams.
  • Enable Data-Informed Decision Making: Establish and implement the systems, processes and tools that allow us to understand and improve the way we work. Build the data layer that builds confidence in product, process, and resourcing decisions.
  • Strategic Project Management: Own the execution of strategic projects that optimize the way we work internally and with clients and partners. Drive collaboration across Technical Solutions, Go-to-Market, Product, and Engineering to tackle our most pressing challenges and solve them via systems, automation, frameworks, and transparency.
Who we're looking for
  • 5+ years of operations, program, or project management experience in a SaaS or technical environment
  • Experience helping teams leverage new tooling, particularly AI capabilities
  • Proven ability to drive alignment across multiple teams
  • Experience building workflows and automations
  • Strong operational instincts - you can see what's broken and build something to fix it
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership
  • Technical fluency - you don't need to write code, but you're excited to dig into how our tech works
  • Thrives in ambiguity and knows how to create structure where there isn't any yet

We're a lean team, so your impact will be felt immediately, and opportunities will grow as the company scales up. If this all sounds like a good fit for you, why not join us?
