Job description

Ready to lead a high-volume pressroom?

We’re hiring a Pressroom Production Team Lead in Ripon, WI to coordinate day-to-day operations and keep our stamping presses running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You’ll guide a talented team on weekend second shift—Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:00pm to 5:00am—with occasional extra days as needed.

What you’ll do
  • Be the first-line leader for your area/zone, aligning manpower and machines to hit daily production plans.
  • Enforce safety policies, conduct audits, ensure PPE compliance, and lead root-cause reviews for incidents or near-misses.
  • Model servant leadership: coach, empower, and recognize team members; cultivate an inclusive, respectful culture.
  • Develop people: train, mentor, assess capabilities, and drive cross-training; manage attendance and conduct.
  • Serve as first point of contact for employee relations and interface with Union Stewards on contract and discipline issues.
  • Oversee the stamping press department to meet aggressive throughput, consistent quality, and on-time delivery targets.
  • Adapt fast to changing priorities; troubleshoot to minimize downtime and maintain continuous flow.
  • Lead/participate in CI efforts (5S, Kaizen, Lean); analyze downtime, scrap, and bottlenecks; deploy countermeasures with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering.
  • Maintain accurate production, quality, and safety documentation; report KPIs to leadership; collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues quickly.
What you bring
  • Track record of servant leadership and team motivation.
  • 1–3 years in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing; prior supervisory experience—preferably in stamping press operations.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and CI tools.
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations preferred; internships/co-ops/pro experience considered relevant.
Physical demands
  • Stooping, bending, extended standing; manual dexterity; lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
Schedule & location
  • Ripon, WI
  • Weekend 2nd shift: Friday–Sunday, 5:00pm–5:00am
  • Additional workdays may be scheduled based on business needs
