Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine their unique treatment needs, facilitating a tailored approach for each individual. This may also include comprehensive mental health screenings.
• Provide individual counseling sessions while also offering family, marriage, and potentially group therapy based on your expertise and client needs.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans grounded in the latest counseling theories and evidence-based practices.
• Utilize telehealth technologies effectively to engage with clients, ensuring that each session is productive and therapeutic.
• Continuously evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to reflect their evolving needs.
• Participate in team meetings, contributing to case discussions and sharing insights on best practices in mental health treatment.
• Complete all administrative tasks related to client documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass working with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and families grappling with an array of mental health issues. You will be prepared to address various conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders. This diverse patient demographic allows for a rich experience in therapeutic practice and an opportunity to foster strong therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

• A completed Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling or a related field, with the necessary licensure as either a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Demonstrated understanding of mental health principles, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based practices.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client-centered care.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and related technologies for effective therapy delivery.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in providing therapy to individuals managing mental and behavioral health challenges.
• Experience working with co-occurring disorders or substance abuse treatment is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with various counseling techniques and methods, demonstrating a breadth of knowledge in individual and family therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
