Work Environment

This position operates in a telehealth setting, allowing you to deliver therapy services in a flexible and convenient manner. The remote work structure is designed to promote work-life balance while maintaining high levels of professional engagement and collaboration among our team members. You will employ telehealth platforms, enabling seamless communication and therapy sessions with clients, ensuring they receive timely support and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to tailor effective treatment plans and establish therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and, depending on your credentials, group, couple, or family therapy, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to conduct mental health screenings and evaluations that address each client’s unique needs.
• Regularly document session notes, treatment progress, and necessary adjustments in client plans using our electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals to create integrated treatment approaches for clients with complex co-occurring disorders.
• Engage in continued professional development to stay current with evolving counseling best practices and applicable laws governing mental health treatment.
• Attend regular team meetings to share insights and contribute to best practices within the organization.
• Perform additional duties as assigned that align with organizational goals and enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to substance use disorders. This role requires an adaptable approach, as you will address the specific needs of each client while fostering a sense of empowerment and resilience.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Social Worker (LICSW) is required.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in relevant fields such as social work, psychology, or counseling.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in mental health, particularly with those impacted by behavioral health challenges, including substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Familiarity with contemporary counseling principles, techniques, and therapies.
• Experience working with adolescents and families is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
