Primary Skills: SRE Expertise (expert), Observability (expert), Incident Leadership (advanced), Java (advanced), Cloud Platforms (advanced)
Contract Type:  W2 Only
Duration:  6+ Months
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $70 - $75 per hour on W2
Job Summary:
Lead reliability and observability efforts across Retail and Payments portfolio, guiding engineers and ensuring stability of critical production systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee incident response activities and drive continuous improvement through post-incident analysis.
  • Partner with Operations, Cloud, and cross-functional teams to enhance operational maturity.
  • Design frameworks and automation for improving engineering efficiency.
  • Mentor engineers and influence company standards for reliability.
  • Establish operational plans contributing to long-term strategies influencing product and platform decisions.
Must-Have Skills:
  • 5+ years programming experience with scripting languages and Java.
  • 3+ years of managerial experience in a technical environment.
  • Proven incident response and resolution leadership experience.
Industry Experience:
Relevant experience in Site Reliability Engineering and operations management.
