We're looking for a skilled Electrician/Millwright to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced coffee manufacturing environment. This hands-on role combines electrical troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance to keep our roasting, grinding, packaging, and material handling equipment running at peak performance.

As a key member of a small and collaborative maintenance team, you'll support production reliability through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Diagnose and repair electrical issues on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot motors, VFDs, sensors, control panels, instrumentation, and automation systems.
• Assist with PLC-controlled equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Perform electrical installations, upgrades, and modifications in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

• Maintain and repair pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Support equipment assembly, alignment, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Perform fabrication and machinery modifications as required.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actions.

• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Document maintenance activities within the CMMS system.
• Support plant shutdowns, start-ups, and major maintenance projects.
• Participate in equipment reliability improvements and process optimization initiatives.
• Work closely with operations, quality, contractors, and equipment vendors to maximize plant performance.

✔ Red Seal or Journeyman Electrician Certification

✔ Millwright/mechanical maintenance experience

✔ Minimum 3 years of experience in a food and beverage manufacturing environment

✔ Experience maintaining industrial production equipment

✔ Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems

✔ Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings

You'll be part of a three-person maintenance team supporting a modern coffee roasting and packaging operation. The environment is clean and warm, with occasional coffee dust in production areas. Standard hours are 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, with occasional earlier start times as business needs require.

This is a Permanent position based out of Langley, BC.

The pay range for this position is $93000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Langley,BC.
