Job description

HOURS: Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm

REPORTS TO: Senior Supplier Operations Support Manager

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

After a period of in-person training and time working onsite with your team, this role has the option to work remotely (in WI only at this time). In general, this timeframe tends to be 6-8 weeks. Note there may be situations where in-person training may be extended, someone may choose, or be asked to return onsite which would be coordinated and scheduled in advance. Additionally, this position does request 1 day per week (Wednesday) onsite.

As a supplier operations price analyst, you will collaborate with the Senior supplier operations support manager to ensure we maintain a competitive position on net costs. You will lead, coordinate, and finalize the price revision process for a select group of assigned suppliers by reviewing, analyzing, negotiating, and processing all cost changes submitted.


Here’s what a typical day might look like. (These are the essential functions of the job.) Other duties may be assigned.

  • Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, and Humility.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with our supplier partners while representing 4imprint in a professional manner.
  • Work with and independent of the Senior Supplier Operations Support Manager to review, analyze, assess impact, and approve vendor price updates from all suppliers.
  • Prioritize submissions to ensure supplier timelines are met, in line with our own, and collaborative relations with the supplier are maintained.
  • Negotiate with suppliers where needed to minimize the financial impact of price changes.
  • Summarize supplier level impact data and share results with management so they can monitor and assess the strategic effect on the business.
  • Maintain reports to analyze, monitor activity, and modify data sets used by the price team, supplier operations, marketing, merchandising, and executive team.
  • Analyze prices for market competitiveness and suggest when benchmarking or further negotiation may be necessary.
  • Maintain a current understanding of market trends and macroeconomic changes and how they apply to proposed price changes.
  • Review and assess the appropriate resolution to purchase order price discrepancy questions from price support associates and adjust records as needed.
  • Work closely with internal team members across all departments to coordinate information flow between suppliers and 4imprint.
  • Collaborate with leadership on special projects related to price analytics, new procedures, and strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.

Required education/skills/experience:

  • Minimum of associate’s degree in marketing, business, finance, or related degree.
    • Applicants with equivalent directly relevant work experience will also be considered.
  • Previous experience as a buyer or cost accountant a plus.
  • Demonstrable understanding of margins, markup, product life cycle, etc.
  • Experience with price methods, costing, and competitive cost analysis preferred.
  • Experience in the promotional products industry preferred.
  • Able to demonstrate strong computer skills with working knowledge of databases, intermediate/advanced Excel skills, and proficiency in other Microsoft Office Suite applications and managing large sets of data.
