Rates appear set to rise after higher than expected job creation in November and an upward revision of September and October’s reports by 26,000 jobs. November saw 211,000 new hires added to the payroll, maintaining a national average of 206,000 jobs created per month this year.
Any remaining uncertainty following slow growth in August and September now seems effectively quelled by a series of recent robust reports, wage increases, and a consistently low 5% unemployment rate. Many predict this healthy growth will continue into the new year.
