Position Requirements

Description
Per Diem Anesthesiologist opening at well-established practice in lively Austin, TX. As part of St. David's Health Care, the full-service St. David's Medical Center provides comprehensive medical care and is home to the world-renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David's Neuroscience & Spine Institute. It provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in a setting that features a 426-bed acute care hospital and a 64-bed rehabilitation hospital. The medical center has a 24-hour emergency department and an all-inclusive Bariatric Surgery Center, and provides complex surgical services. Our practice provides anesthesia services at St. David's Medical Center, North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center. Our diverse group is composed of anesthesiologists and CRNAs who provide anesthesia services following a care team model, focusing on everyone having a voice while supporting, respecting, and helping to deliver care excellence.

Hourly Rate: $350 per hour if located within 50 mile radius / $375 per hour if located outside of 50 mile radius.

Case Assignments & Schedule
Schedule: Work an average of 8 hours per week as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
MD or DO from an accredited institution
Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
Board Eligible or Board Certified
Current medical licensure
ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)

St. David's Medical Center, $350/hour (within 50 mile radius) / $375/hour (outside of 50 mile radius), PRN Anesthesiologist
