Position Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facility. You'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and systems, helping to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a new facility from the ground up and contribute to its success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including HVAC, conveyors, mixers, and packaging machines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to minimize production downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues before they impact production.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure machines are running at optimal performance levels.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and the modification of existing equipment to meet production needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment maintenance logs.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
