Downsizing, Online Auction & Estate Sale Associate
Caring Transitions of Madison North & Sun Prairie
Part-Time | $17-$20 per hour, based on experience
Looking for meaningful, flexible part-time work?
Caring Transitions of North Madison & Sun Prairie helps seniors and families with downsizing, relocation, estate sales, online auctions, and home clean-outs. We are looking for dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented team members who enjoy organizing, researching, and helping others.
This is an active, hands-on position inside clients' homes throughout North Madison, Sun Prairie, and surrounding areas. Local travel is required, and weekly hours may vary based on scheduled projects.
Responsibilities
  • Sort and organize belongings for sale, donation, relocation, recycling, or disposal
  • Assist seniors and families with downsizing and home organization
  • Prepare furniture, collectibles, and household items for CTBids online auctions
  • Research items and write clear, accurate auction descriptions
  • Measure and photograph items using a smartphone
  • Upload photos and item details into auction and inventory apps
  • Set up merchandise, tables, displays, and signage for estate sales
  • Assist customers and help process purchases during sales
  • Organize sold items for customer pickup
  • Pack belongings and assist with light clean-out tasks
  • Handle clients' homes and belongings with care, compassion, and respect

Qualifications
