What are on-demand jobs?

On-demand jobs are flexible work opportunities that allow individuals to accept tasks or gigs as needed, usually through online platforms or apps. These jobs can range from driving for ride-sharing services, delivering food, freelancing, or performing short-term tasks for clients. Workers choose when and how much they want to work, making it an appealing option for those seeking flexibility or supplemental income. The payment structure is typically per task or gig completed, rather than a fixed salary. On-demand jobs are part of the broader gig economy, which has grown significantly due to advancements in technology and changing workforce preferences.

Experience using GPS navigation apps, delivery management platforms, and sometimes basic vehicle maintenance is typically required. These abilities ensure timely, accurate deliveries and a positive customer experience, which are critical for success in the on-demand delivery industry.
