NFL FLAG Game Day Field Manager- Sundays

Position Summary

Just Compete Sports is seeking reliable, organized, and professional NFL FLAG Game Day Field Managers to oversee game day operations and help ensure a safe, positive, and well-organized league experience.

The Field Manager serves as the primary on-site representative for Just Compete Sports and is responsible for field setup and teardown, equipment and supply management, game day logistics, safety oversight, problem-solving, reporting, and communication with coaches, families, officials, players, spectators, and league management.

The ideal candidate is highly dependable, detail-oriented, punctual, responsive, level-headed, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced youth sports environment.

Fall 2026 Schedule

The Fall 2026 season runs weekly on Sundays from September 13 through November 15, 2026.

In addition to Sunday game days, Field Managers must be available for:

  • Online training sessions beginning prior to the start of the season

  • Weekly Google Meet calls with league management

  • Weekly supply and equipment pickups as assigned

On game days, Field Managers are expected to arrive at least one hour before the first scheduled practice and remain approximately 30–45 minutes after the final game to complete closing responsibilities.

Fall 2026 Openings

We are currently hiring NFL FLAG Game Day Field Managers for the following locations:

  • Wheat Ridge

  • South West Lakewood

  • Littleton

  • Ken Caryl

  • Centennial

  • Central Park

  • South Denver

  • Highlands Ranch

  • Castle Rock

  • Aurora

  • Castle Rock

Candidates should have reliable transportation and be able to work within approximately a 20-mile radius of their assigned location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of on-site game day operations and help ensure league events run smoothly and on schedule.

  • Coordinate field setup and teardown, including equipment placement, signage, supplies, and site cleanliness.

  • Transport equipment and supplies to and from assigned field locations.

  • Arrive at least one hour before the first practice and remain 30–45 minutes after the final game.

  • Enforce league rules, policies, safety guidelines, and expectations consistently and professionally.

  • Serve as an on-site resource for coaches, players, parents, spectators, referees, and field staff.

  • Address game day questions, conflicts, issues, and unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.

  • Coordinate scorecards, referee field assignments, and other game day logistics.

  • Monitor field conditions and help identify and address potential safety concerns.

  • Complete required post-game reporting, including scores, field staff hours, on-field issues or incidents, inventory counts, and other requested information.

  • Submit all required reports and documentation accurately and by established deadlines.

  • Attend required meetings and communicate updates with league management.

  • Maintain timely and professional communication through designated league communication platforms.

  • Respond promptly to messages, schedule changes, operational updates, and requests from league management.

  • Notify management as soon as possible of any delays, incidents, concerns, staffing issues, or other game day problems.

  • Assist with league merchandise sales and maintain accurate sales, transaction, and inventory records.

  • Monitor game day inventory and help replenish supplies as needed.

  • Demonstrate strong follow-through and take ownership of assigned responsibilities from start to completion.

  • Complete additional game day operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

Candidates must:

  • Successfully complete all required training before beginning independent game day responsibilities.

  • Be highly responsible, dependable, organized, professional, and punctual.

  • Arrive on time for all scheduled shifts, meetings, trainings, and supply pickups.

  • Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Be highly responsive to league communications and regularly monitor designated communication platforms.

  • Complete all assigned reports, forms, score reporting, inventory counts, staff-hour reporting, and other documentation by required deadlines.

  • Be comfortable interacting professionally with young athletes, coaches, parents, spectators, referees, and staff.

  • Be able to make decisions and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.

  • Pass a required background check.

  • Have reliable transportation.

  • Be willing and able to travel to assigned league locations within approximately a 20-mile radius of the assigned location.

  • Have a working and active smartphone with reliable access to league communication platforms.

  • Be available for required weekly Google Meet calls.

  • Be available for assigned weekly supply and equipment pickups.

  • Be able to transport league equipment and supplies.

  • Be comfortable learning, understanding, and using mobile apps and web-based platforms required for league operations.

  • Be proficient with Google Workspace, including Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Forms, Gmail, and Google Meet.

  • Be able to independently access schedules, complete digital reports and forms, enter and update information accurately, and follow instructions using online systems.

  • Be able to stand and walk for extended periods, potentially up to 12 hours on game days.

  • Be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

  • Be able to lift, carry, set up, and break down game day equipment and supplies.

  • Be dependable and available for the full scheduled season, including required Sunday game days and other scheduled league responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous management, supervisory, team lead, event operations, or sports league experience is preferred but not required.

  • A sports-minded individual with a strong understanding of team environments, competition, and youth athletics is a plus.
