  • Support residents' physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

  • Promote resident independence while ensuring safety and respect for personal choice.

  • Explain each medication and its purpose to residents before administration.

  • Observe and promptly report any adverse reactions or changes in condition to the Wellness Nurse or supervisor.

  • Adhere to infection control and OSHA regulations, including safe waste disposal.

  • Respond calmly and effectively to resident calls and emergencies.

  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.

Communication & Teamwork
  • Attend all required staff meetings and training sessions.

  • Communicate changes in residents' conditions, medication refusals, or concerns to the Wellness Nurse promptly.

  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity and quality of care.

  • Seek guidance from supervisors or licensed staff whenever questions arise about medications or treatments.

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications.
