Job description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Cabinet Builder role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a respected custom woodworking and cabinetry manufacturer known for craftsmanship, precision, and delivering high-quality products. With a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement, they take pride in creating custom cabinetry solutions for residential and commercial applications.

Key Responsibilities:
· Build and assemble custom cabinets, drawers, and related components according to blueprints, specifications, and production schedules.
· Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently, including saws, routers, sanders, drills, and other cabinet-making equipment.
· Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and composite materials with a high degree of accuracy.
· Install hardware, hinges, drawer slides, and other cabinet components to ensure proper fit and function.
· Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to company standards.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures and company policies.
· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
· Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure project requirements are met.
· Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment and report any issues to supervisors.
· Assist with material handling, inventory organization, and loading/unloading as needed.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Previous cabinet building, woodworking, carpentry, or related manufacturing experience preferred.
· Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.
· Experience operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
· Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production environment.
