We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven professional, who enjoys building relationships and wants to develop a career in trading. This is a front-office role focused on building strong client relationships and executing trades in the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) โ€“ the worldโ€™s largest carbon market.

You will work closely with corporate clients to help them meet compliance obligations, understand market trends, and make informed decisions on when and how to buy or sell EU Allowances (EUAs). You will also introduce risk management strategies and financial instruments to help clients manage exposure to market volatility.

About the Role

We are seeking a high-energy, commercially minded individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and knack for sales. As a Corporate Sales Trader, you will:

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with corporate clients
  • Understand client compliance needs and provide tailored trading solutions
  • Monitor market developments and share timely insights to support client decision-making
  • Build relationships with a wide network of professionals, negotiating competitive deals, and providing clients with sustainable solutions
  • Develop a deep understanding of your market, including buyers, sellers and competitors
  • Build and manage a portfolio of customers and trading counterparts
  • Negotiate and close deals with new and existing clients
  • Provide clients with market intelligence to support pricing, trading, and risk strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and execute trading strategies
  • Conduct on-site meetings and engage with clients to understand their needs

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • 1-3 years of proven sales experience, ideally in sales trading, finance, commodities, or environmental markets
  • Fluency in English and either Slovak or Czech is required.
  • Strong commercial mindset, entrepreneurial drive and focus on delivering value to clients
  • Ability to analyze market data and translate it into practical advice
  • Degree inEconomics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (required by regulation)
