Job description

We are seeking an experienced Foreman Welder to lead our welding and fabrication crew. This is a working foreman positionโ€”handsโ€on welding while supervising daily operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, leads by example, and keeps jobs running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise welders and fabrication personnel
  • Perform welding and fabrication work alongside the crew
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and job specs
  • Assign daily tasks and ensure production schedules are met
  • Inspect welds and finished work for quality and accuracy
  • Enforce safety rules and company procedures (OSHA compliant)
  • Train and mentor employees; maintain jobsite discipline
  • Coordinate with management on progress, manpower, and materials
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 yearsโ€™ welding experience
  • Prior lead or foreman experience preferred
  • Proficient in MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Fluxโ€Core welding
  • Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
  • Ability to manage a crew and communicate clearly
  • Reliable, motivated, and safetyโ€focused
  • Able to work overtime as needed

Preferred (Not Required)
