Candy production is the process of creating sweet confectionery products such as chocolates, gummies, hard candies, and caramels. This involves mixing, heating, shaping, and packaging various ingredients like sugar, flavorings, and colorings. The production process can range from small-scale artisanal methods to large-scale automated factory operations. Candy producers must also follow strict food safety and quality standards to ensure the final products are safe and enjoyable for consumers.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in candy production?

To excel in Candy Production, you need a solid understanding of food safety, quality control, and basic confectionery techniques, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with industrial candy-making equipment, HACCP protocols, and food handling certifications is typically required.
