JOB TITLE: Sales Associate

Reports To: Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Department Manager Non-Exempt

SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for assisting customers in their purchase of company products and services by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Handles all aspects of customer service (internal and external customers alike)
  • Ability to handle customer and employee issues, along with communicating to management regarding issues that need to be addressed.
  • Assists with inventory to and from the warehouse, and sales floor.
  • Responsible for promoting a positive culture within the department/store.
  • Works with customers to insure a positive shopping experience.
  • Handles inbound calls
  • Provides and collects required paperwork and forms following all ATF guidelines, ensuring

accuracy of data collected free of errors or missing data.

  • Maintains required paperwork.
  • Quotes price and describes features of product items.
  • Emphasizes salable features, credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
  • Stocks products on sales floor
  • Cleans and organizes work areas
  • Enforces safety, health, and security rules.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as required by management.
