What is aerospace physiology?
How to get a job in aerospace physiology?
To obtain a job in aerospace physiology, you need at least a bachelor’s degree in a physiological field, though many employers prefer candidates with more advanced degrees.Typical areas of study include biomedical engineering, kinesiology, human systems integration, and social factors engineering. Those who work directly with staff to train them for flight need extensive on-the-job training. The military, for instance, requires 30 months of AOP assignments and several weeks of Commissioned Officer training. Most companies also require you to demonstrate your understanding of aerospace physiology, which entails an assessment by a senior employee in the same position. Researchers at government agencies, universities, and other organizations should have some experience in conducting lab research.
