We provide the training and resources for you to succeed and grow in your role. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead energizing, safe, and educational Aqua Zumba classes to support the YMCA mission and goals.
  • Answer member questions and provide support in achieving their wellness goals.
  • Build authentic relationships with members and foster connections within the YMCA community.
  • Maintain accurate class attendance records and follow YMCA policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Required certifications: CPR, First Aid, AED, Oxygen administration, YMCA Water Fitness Instructor certification, and Aqua Zumba certification.
  • Minimum of one year teaching group wellness classes preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to conduct classes, swim, walk, stand, bend, reach, and lift.
  • Perform all physical aspects of the position effectively.
