Our client is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking Senior Project Managers with the leadership experience and technical expertise to oversee and deliver complex, high-impact telecom infrastructure projects.


As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of major initiatives—including fiber optic deployments, wireless infrastructure builds, and large-scale network upgrades. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope and budget, and aligned with the highest quality and safety standards. In this senior-level role, you will provide strategic direction, lead cross-functional teams, optimize operational performance, and contribute to a culture built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Champion and uphold a strong safety-first culture, ensuring all safety and environmental standards are met or exceeded on telecom construction sites
  • Lead the planning and execution of large-scale telecommunications projects, including fiber deployments, small cell installations, and wireless tower builds
  • Manage risk, permitting, and client communications throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify and support the pursuit of new telecom project opportunities
  • Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation using industry-standard tools and methodologies
  • Lead the implementation of Project Quality Plans (PQP) and ensure compliance with telecom construction standards and specifications
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Negotiate contracts and manage change orders
  • Establish and manage project systems, including cost tracking, reporting, and documentation


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of telecom or utility construction project management experience, with a proven track record of leading large, complex infrastructure projects
  • Education in Construction Management, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred; diploma or technical training accepted)
  • Strong understanding of telecom construction methods, permitting processes, and industry standards (e.g., NESC, NEC, local codes)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Experience with contract negotiation, cost control, and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar) is a plus


Working Conditions

  • Travel up to 30% of the time across the United States, including visits to project hubs such as Florence, KY
