Job description

Engineering firm doing business in Michigan is seeking a Land Development Project Engineer for their growing office!


Responsibilities:

  • Lead project team in preparation of project drawings, calculations, and specification
  • Prepare engineering analysis, design, calculations, and reports
  • Evaluate land use/zoning requirements
  • Prepare permit applications, work through agency review processes, and obtain approvals
  • Site visits during construction phase
  • Work as part of a multi-discipline team
  • Mentor/train junior staff

 

Requirements:
  • Must be an engineer or designer with experience in land development projects, sustainable design, utility design, and stormwater management design
  • 3+ years of design experience on land development projects
  • Experience with K-12 site design preferred
  • Familiarity with zoning ordinances/site plan approval processes
  • Proficient in Civil 3D and Office 360 products

 

Salary is commensurate with experience.
