Location: Miami, FL
Service Areas: 33125 - Little Havana / Miami, 33145 - Coral Way / Miami, 33133 - Coconut Grove / Miami
Employment Type: Per Diem / Part-Time
Pay Rate: $18.00-$21.00 per hour, based on experience and case assignment
Schedule: Flexible shifts based on client needs
About Matrix Home Care
Matrix Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Bilingual Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care and support services to clients in the home setting. This position will support clients in the Miami area, including the Little Havana, Coral Way, and Coconut Grove areas.
Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred.
Position Summary
The Home Health Aide will assist clients with activities of daily living and provide support to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. The ideal candidate is caring, reliable, professional, and comfortable working one-on-one with clients in a home care environment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, walking, and fall prevention
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding support, as needed
  • Provide light housekeeping related to the client's care
  • Provide medication reminders, as permitted by agency policy
  • Monitor and report changes in the client's condition, behavior, or home environment
  • Follow the assigned care plan and communicate concerns to the care team
  • Maintain client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and communicate schedule changes promptly
Requirements
  • Valid Home Health Aide certificate
  • Bilingual preferred; Spanish strongly preferred
  • Previous home care, private duty, assisted living, or facility experience preferred
  • Ability to provide compassionate care in the home setting
  • Reliable transportation preferred
  • CPR certification preferred or required based on assignment
  • Must be dependable, professional, and able to follow a care plan
  • Must meet all Matrix Home Care hiring and compliance requirements
  • Experience working with elderly clients or clients requiring assistance with daily living activities
  • Experience with personal care, transfers, mobility support, and companionship
  • Strong communication skills with clients, families, and office staff
