Job description

About Zip
Zip is the AI platform for enterprise procurement - built for humans and agents working together. By orchestrating procurement across teams, tools, and suppliers with the help of AI agents, companies can secure the resources they need to innovate faster than ever before.
The world's most influential enterprises trust Zip, including T-Mobile, OpenAI, AMD, Mars, Dollar Tree, and more. Together they've saved over $8 billion and processed over $500 billion in spend. Zip's team includes product leaders from Apple, Airbnb, and Meta, as well as former procurement leaders from United Health, Sanofi, MGM Resorts, Discover, and NASA.
Backed by Adams Street, Alkeon, BOND, CRV, DST, Tiger Global, and Y Combinator, Zip has raised $371 million, most recently at a $2.2 billion valuation and has been recognized by Forbes Fintech 50, Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies, Inc. Best in Business, and LinkedIn Top Startups.
Please note we are looking for someone who is willing and able to come into our downtown San Francisco office on a hybrid basis (3 days / week).
Your Role
As a Senior Product Manager for App Studio and Marketplace, you will own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution for Zip's App Studio (Zip's proprietary low-code integration and agent workflow builder) and the emerging Marketplace. You will shape the platform that powers how Zip connects to 3rd party systems; define how partners and customers build, deploy, and extend integrations; and drive an ecosystem that accelerates value for our largest enterprise customers.
This is a highly cross-functional and technically deep role responsible for advancing our low-code integration platform, enabling partner-built templates, and establishing Zip's Marketplace as a core product differentiator. You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Technical Solutions Consulting, Implementation Partners, and GTM leadership to deliver a platform that is reliable, scalable, configurable, and AI-augmented.
You Will
  • Define and lead the product strategy for App Studio and the Marketplace - advancing App Studio toward a mature iPaaS-like platform while building and scaling the Marketplace ecosystem to enable partners and third-party developers to create connectors, templates, and applications.
  • Translate complex problems into intuitive, repeatable, and low-code/AI-assisted configuration experiences for partners, builders, and customers.
  • Collaborate deeply with engineering and design to define requirements, provide product direction, make tradeoffs, and deliver high-quality platform capabilities and UX.
  • Partner with Technical Solutions Consultants and Partners to understand real-world integration patterns, identify reusable components, and increase build-time efficiency.
  • Lead product discovery through customer and partner research, data analysis, and competitive intelligence across leading iPaaS and workflow automation platforms.
  • Enable internal and external stakeholders (Sales, TSC, partners) with documentation, best practices, enablement guides, and solution blueprints.

Your Qualifications
  • 4-8+ years of Product Management experience, including 2+ years building platforms in at least one of the following domains: integrations, workflow automation, iPaaS, low-code/no-code builders, or developer platforms.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns (APIs, webhooks, event frameworks, data transformation, error handling, OAuth/credential flows, schema mapping).
  • Demonstrated ability to ship high-scale platform capabilities with strong technical intuition and fluency in system architecture and data flows.
  • Experience building marketplaces, partner ecosystems, or extension frameworks where external developers build on top of the platform.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into intuitive product experiences for both technical and non-technical users.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, influencing without authority, and driving alignment across engineering, design, sales, customer teams, and partner teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging and level of detail to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bias to action, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to operate in a fast-growing, rapidly evolving environment.

Bonus
  • Experience with ERP or finance/procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, MS Dynamics) is preferred.
  • Experience with AI-assisted tooling (e.g., generative configuration, automated mapping) is a plus.

The salary range for this role is $190,000 - $245,000. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
Perks & Benefits
At Zip, we're committed to providing our employees with everything they need to do their best work.
  • Start-up equity
  • Full health, vision & dental coverage
  • Catered lunches & dinners for SF employees
  • Commuter benefit
  • Team building events & happy hours
  • Flexible PTO
  • Apple equipment plus home office budget
  • 401k plan

We're looking to hire Zipsters and that means hiring people who take ownership, communicate openly, have an underdog mindset, and are excited to increase the pace of innovation for every business in the world. We encourage all candidates to apply even if your experience doesn't exactly match up to our job description. We look forward to hearing from you!
