We are seeking an experienced Metrology Specialist with a strong focus on CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programming to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming CMMs using Zeiss Calypso software (any version) and will play a key role in supporting our qualification and supplier accountability processes.
What you'll do:
  • Write, develop, and optimize CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software to support part qualification and supplier accountability.

  • Perform dimensional inspections using CMMs and a variety of hand gauging tools (height gauges, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.).

  • Communicate inspection requirements and results effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provide feedback to engineering and quality teams regarding inspection capabilities during planning and development phases.

  • Support and improve inspection processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Complete additional tasks as required to support the metrology and quality teams.

 
What you'll have:
  • 3+ years' experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment

  • Proven experience in CMM programming, specifically with Zeiss Calypso software (any version).

  • Proficient in the use of hand gauging tools (height gauges, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of dimensional inspection and metrology principles.

  • Experience with PolyWorks CMM software is a plus.

  • Experience with ERP-based software is a bonus.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

 
What Will Help You Stand Out:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

  • Experience supporting supplier quality and accountability processes.

 
Additional Details:
  • Location: Waukesha, WI

  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday onsite per week.
